rockt schon ganz ordentlich. Und dabei bin ich nur auf 720p (also 1280×720 Pixel) ausgelegt. Will gar nicht wissen, wie krass das erst mit 1080p (1920×1080) aussieht 
Wobei auch schon zu bemerken ist, dass die Filme sehr unterschiedlich von HD profitieren. Der alte, düstere und verrauchte Goodfellas deutete nur in den wenigen Tagszenen das Potential an und auch Apollo 13 ist zwar scharf (man erkennt Bartstoppeln uns die Amaturen im Raumschiff sind auch schön scharf), aber er beeindruckt sehr viel weniger als King Kong, der aber mit seiner meist hohen Schärfentiefe und seinen vielen, konstrastreichen Kanten (vor allem im Urwald, aber auch die Hochhausszene sieht fantastisch aus) einfach für High Definition gemacht ist.

Ach ja: Und ich war am Wochende in Dresden bei Julius, hat schöne und weniger schöne Ecken die Stadt

Geht. Kosten für den Beamer vor nem guten Jahr: 1000 Euro, für die Xbox zum Start 400 Euro, das HD-Laufwerk 200 Euro. Der Beamer und das Laufwerk waren aber beides Weihnachts/Geburtstags-Geschenke. Achja, und dann ist da noch ne 70 Euro-ebay-Leinwand dabei.
Um den Feed und andere Sachen werde ich mich wohl die Tage mal kümmern

Nen HD-DVD Laufwerk fuer 200eur, nicht schlecht das lohnt sich ja richtig, kann man wahrscheinlich nur an die XBOX360 anschliessen, oder?

Soweit ich weiß, kriegt mans auch am PC zum Laufen. Ob sichs lohnt ist trotzdem sone Sache. Zwar ist es sehr viel billiger als normale HD-DVD und BlueRay-Player, die so um die 1000 Euro kosten, andererseit kosten eine Xbox360+HD-DVD-Laufwerk auch nicht weniger als eine PS3, die ja einen BluRay-Laufwerk hat.
Und BluRay ist im Moment etwas stärker. Sprich: Mehr Film-Gesellschaften unterstützen BluRay als HD-DVD. Glaube nicht, dass beide Formate lange nebeneinander existieren können sondern sich der stärkere durchsetzt. Allerdings hat nen Kumpel darauf letztens ganz richtig daran entgegnet, dass es bei den Formaten DVD-R und DVD+R auch ein nebenher gibt, was ja durchaus zu vergleichen ist. Wie auch immer. Bis HD Mainstream ist, können die Player eh beide Formate. Dennoch: So ein HD-Pionier zu sein hat auch was
